Mississippi Farmers Market to Host Halloween Extravaganza

The Mississippi Farmers Market will host the Halloween Extravaganza 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28. The Market will feature complimentary bags of popcorn, a photo opportunity for attendees to pose in their Halloween costumes, a variety of food trucks and unique vendors for shopping. The Market will also have pumpkins available to purchase for painting — paint will be provided at no extra cost. Shoppers are invited to wear family-friendly costumes. “I encourage everyone to join us at the Mississippi Farmers Market for our Halloween Extravaganza this Saturday,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “This seasonal event is a great way to celebrate the fall harvest. Our farmers have worked hard this year bringing bounty to the market, even during this harsh drought. Come out this Saturday to support our farmers while having some family-friendly fun."
