JHLS Announces Grand Reopening of the Annie T. Jeffers Library in Bolton

The Jackson/Hinds Library System is elated to announce the grand reopening of the Annie T. Jeffers Library. After extensive renovations, the library is prepared to serve the community of Bolton, MS, once again with an enhanced space and improved resources.


The reopening event is scheduled for Friday, March 28th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the library, located at 111 Madison St., Bolton, MS 39041. This special celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and activities for visitors of all ages.


“We are so delighted to welcome the Bolton community back to the Annie T. Jeffers Library,” said Wesley Cooper, Branch Manager. “Our mission is to provide enriching educational and technological resources, and we look forward to continuing to serve our patrons in an improved space.”


The public is invited to attend and experience the revitalized library. Guests will have the opportunity to register for library cards, explore upcoming programs, and learn about the variety of services available. Refreshments will be provided for all attendees.


The Jackson/Hinds Library System is committed to fostering lifelong learning and community engagement. The reopening of the Annie T.
