On Monday, December 2nd, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (MS-02) and the White House National Cyber Director Harry Coker, Jr. will hold a public forum at Hinds Community College to highlight the excellent work in Central Mississippi by local higher education institutions to strengthen the local cybersecurity workforce and expand the broader cyber ecosystem to build the cyber talent the nation needs. This event is open to the media and will include a panel discussion moderated by Hinds Community College Vice President Dr. Ginger Robbins.
In addition to the public forum, Congressman Thompson and Director Coker will tour Hinds’ Raymond Campus and meet with administrators and students from local colleges and universities – including Hinds Community College, Jackson State University, and Tougaloo College.
